The Morning Skincare Routine I Follow
Mornings are for antioxidants and sunscreen, not a ten-step routine. Here's the simple order I follow every day.

Building a Morning Skincare Routine
Before I build out any routine, I start by asking myself one question: what’s my skin’s biggest problem right now? I address that first, start in small increments, and once it’s under control, I move on to whatever comes next.
My Morning Skincare Routine, Step by Step
This exact order of applying products was actually something covered in that Skin Health class on the MasterClass platform I mentioned before, and it’s the sequence I’ve incorporated into my own routine ever since.
- Wash my face with NO cleanser, just water. But if you have a really oily skin, go for a cleanser wash session.
- Antioxidant serum such as Vitamin C along with a few drops of peptides.
- Vitamin C under eye cream.
- Moisturizer if I’m in a dry and cold environment.
- Let it settle for a few minutes.
- Finish with a sunscreen.
- Reapply sunscreen (powdered or spray version) throughout the day whenever needed, at least once.
DIY Glycerin Mist If You Are In A Dry and Cold Environment
Mix 1 tbsp glycerin with 4 tbsp filtered water. Spray it on your face anytime you need to, without affecting your makeup.
